Since, the city of 14 islands has not changed much. She’s still gorgeous, welcoming and generous.

The owners, design enthusiasts and passionate Paris where they also lived several years, initially bought this house, hotel especially typical Swedish red brick built in 1910, in 2006 for personal reasons. This house was designed by architect Fredrik Dahlberg. Their desire to open a luxury boutique hotel, a truly generous house with artists from around the world was stronger.
Nestled in the north of the city, in a small tourist place, close to a small square pocket, Ett Hem is a discreet place, a house that deserves. Happiness is nestled behind the heavy wooden door. A cozy house, a cottage garden, a veranda stuffed with books, 2 bikes that are waiting for you. Passing the door, the smell wafts fig. Classical music relaxes the mind. Here, every room of the house belonging to guests the time of their stay. Possibility of small dinners or lunches ephemeral in the lounge, on the porch or even in the kitchen.
Every detail has meaning. Home-made granola at breakfast, pie of the day, the menus change with the seasons.
Here, everything is elegant while being unpretentious. It does not take himself seriously but we feel the dough owners who have a taste for beautiful things. The result is a place that appeals to trendsetters, artists, producers around the world.
In the rooms, soft natural materials. Fresh flowers. High tech equipment without being ostentatious.
Ett Hem is not a conventional hotel. This is a friendly place, where guests taste to an atmosphere, an art of living. They are not treated as guests but as friends. It is glamorous in its time. Generous too. Trendy. But as emphasized Jeannette Mix, the owner, “Ett Hem is as glamorous as it is casual.”
This is a location which is not subjected. But that is appropriated. It’s rare.
We do not want it from there. So we’ll take a short break in the city, just to feast on Scandinavian decor stores or understand the philosophy of Alfred Nobel and returned quickly to warm up in the sauna and meditate on the great hot stone Ett Hem, for recover the ideas in place.
